Kona Ice!

Good afternoon,

Just a friendly reminder that Kona will be coming Thursday from 12:30 -3:30 to kick off March is reading month. It was moved from Friday due to the start of Ramadan.

We have a couple parent volunteers coming to assist kids with purchasing. It will be an outdoor truck unless weather is too bad then they will send the mini truck to go inside the lobby.

If you send in money, please place it in your child’s folder, labeled with KONA ICE so I know that it is for Kona and not snack sale.

If you would like to purchase a Kona Ice online, you can use this link. Please remember to enter your child’s name as the recipient!

Valentine’s Day

Good afternoon!

I will be out of the building on Thursday February 13th and Friday February 14th. Because of this, we will celebrate Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 12th.

If you would like to send in valentine’s for the class, we have 19 students. The best way to do them in Kinder is to have your child write their name on the “from” line and leave the “to” line blank. Please have your child sign their name! It’s a GREAT handwriting activity!

If you would like to send in goodie bags and/or candy, please be sure it is peanut free.

We will be making bags to collect our goodies so you do not need to make a valentine’s day mailbox.

If you would like to donate any of the items needed for the party, please use the link below.

We will play games, do some fun activities, make a 100’s Day snack, and dress up like we are 100 years old! We have SO MUCH fun on this special day. We included some pictures to give you some ideas. You can also google “Dressing up like you are 100 for the 100th day of school” for more ideas. If you have any questions, please let us know. We will be sending a signup link for donations soon.
