Please add the following to the Vocabulary One document: MYTH – little historical truth; EPIC – long narrative or poem about the deeds of gods or heroes (Sundiata); LEGEND – a widely told story that has more historical truth and less emphasis on the supernatural (King Arthur)

This week we’ll be completing AOW practice and AOW 1 in class. We will be learning Vocabulary One from Sundiata. We’ll be learning the stages and archetypes of the hero’s journey as well.
This week we’re working on Joseph Campbell’s Journey of a hero archetypes and stages and applying them to the first of our short stories in this unit.
