Reading
Read from a novel daily for 30 minutes. Each day, write a one paragraph “Somebody Wanted But So Then” summary and identify 2 words that you used context clues to define. Copy the sentences that include the interesting word and the context clues you used. Circle the interesting word and underline the context clues. Staple all of your work together and turn it in when we return. Each day’s entry will be worth 5 points. If you’re having a hard time finding books to read, check out the Storyline link from the State of Michigan.

Math
Complete lessons 14-17 using the links below and the corresponding homework assignments in the blue dot workbook. I will be checking in the workbook pages. If you did not bring home your workbook, you will need to click on the link below for the lesson pages. This is actually a copy of an “old” teacher’s manual. You will need to scroll down to UNIT D, lessons 14-17 homework pages. The workbook pages are listed as well as the entire lesson sequence. Just print out the workbook pages, otherwise you’ll be printing about 380 pages if you click print for the whole document!
