Market Day!

I think we can all agree that Market Day was an awesome experience had by all!  I was so impressed by not only my students’ ideas, products, and services; but by their drive and dedication to their business and its success.

Thank you for coming, shopping, and buying goods from our 6 businesses.  The children had a great time, and learned so much from this Economics Unit.  Here are some pictures of the groups and their tables set up, before the shoppers arrived. Enjoy 🙂

Market Day Fun

Hi Parents!

Just a reminder that the 4th grade Market Day is soon approaching!  It will be next Friday, May 5th from 12:30-3.  Please come see the hard work your child has put into their products and have the chance to “buy” goods from different companies.  The 3rd grade will visit our market day at 1:30, so the first hour might be the best hour -all the products will still be available 😉  Here are some pictures Ms. Cronin captured of some students working hard today. Enjoy!

Happy Spring Break!

Hi Parents!

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet this week, I have been sick since Monday 🙁

The kids had a fun-filled week though!  Wednesday they had Camp Day, and they made a dream catcher, had smore’s, and got to read and tell stories!  Unfortunately I was home, sick in bed this day and missed it all!

Today, we had a fun day as well.  They got to enjoy ice cream, thanks to the Haigh PTA 🙂  They got to take a brain break and do some dancing to Go Noodle.  Also, we got to enjoy brownies and lemon cupcakes, (Thank you Maria and family!!)

The brownies didn’t come easy though.  I told the kids yesterday that I would bring them brownies today.  So, that’s what I brought- Brown-e’s….haha April Fools!!!  They were sooo disappointed but thought it was hilarious at the same time.  Of course, I brought in the real thing, after making them believe that I didn’t of course 🙂

Enjoy some pictures below from today!  Have a safe, fun, and healthy Spring Break to all!  See you in a week.
