Make sure you read the entire post on Google Classroom and comment “done” once you’ve read it. It’s also easier to ask questions on Google Classroom, so make sure to always check it!

Miss and love you all! <3

Hi guys! I hope you all are taking care of yourselves and your families are doing okay. I miss you guys sooo much!

All Homework is DUE on 03/20.

Make sure you guys are all reading for 30 minutes each day. You can go on EPIC or read the books in your reading bag.

MSTEP: I want you all to do the second “Cure for Carlotta” Packet, the one with “5th Grade Enligsh Language Arts” written at the top. You all have read the passages and completed # 1-12. I want you all to answer questions #13-19.

Readworks: Log onto readworks.org and complete these two articles — “Spinning Storms” & “Malala Yousafzai”

Social Studies: I want you all to read Chapter 11 and complete questions 3 and 4 from the screenshot below. Answer these questions on a google doc, title it “Chapter 11 Social Studies” and then share with me once you are done.

Next Few Weeks

Hi kids, I miss you guys already…

So I wanted to give you guys an idea of how the next few weeks will look. I want you guys to check the blog every Monday to see what you have for homework that week. Everything will be due that Friday. For example, if I assign homework on 03/16, then it will be due on 03/20. You can take your time to do it during the week. There will be articles on Readworks or MSTEP Practice or some math pages from your books or some chapters to read and write about from your Social Studies books. If you have any questions about anything, you can email me (islamn@dearbornschools.org)! I showed you guys how to do that on Thursday. Or you can ask me on Remind.

Don’t worry too much about what’s going on and stay safe everyone. We will be reunited soon! I miss and love you guys <3 <3
