Weekly virtual art lessons, activities, games and exercises will be posted in this tab. You can send me a picture of your artwork on class dojo or to my email address stewarr@dearbornschools.org. If you send me your artwork, I can post it on my blog underneath the activity.
Getting Started- Make an art portflio. I encourage every student to start a portfolio of your artwork. Your portfolio can be as simple as saving all your art in a folder. In the art room, we folded a piece of 12 in. x 18 in. construction paper in half (horizontally) to construct our folders. Feel free to decorate the front and the back of your folder with whatever materials that you may have at home. If you do not have a piece of construction paper, you can find a creative way to keep your work together. When face to face classroom meetings resume, you will have an opportunity to share your portfolio.
