Welcome to Virtual Learning with Dearborn Public Schools!

I hope you had a relaxing summer vacation, and are ready for an awesome adventure this year.

Iḿ super excited to have you in my class this year. My preference was to welcome you back in person but this year itś like no other. We will make the best out of it together.

To begin, I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Mrs.Sharif and Iḿ your virtual teacher this year. Prior to becoming your virtual teacher I was a fourth grade teacher at Henry Ford Elementary. This is my 12th year of teaching. I have taught 1st, 2nd and 4th grade in my years of experience. Teaching is my passion and it was always my dream to become a teacher. Here Iám doing what I love most even in the YEAR 2020!!

This year you will see students from your homeschool and other schools. In this class there is a mix of fourth grade students from Howard Elementary and McCollough Unis. You will get to meet each other very soon.

We will have orientation this week on 9/1, 9/2, and 9/3. You will have the choice from 2 time slots. The choices are 9:00-10:00 a.m. or 10:10-11:10 a.m. It is highly important that the parents and student attend the orientation together. You will receive a link to the ZOOM conference via class dojo or email.
