Good afternoon. We are nearly done with MSTEP so I will be going back to my normal routine with homework. Your child brought home a book today. The genre of the book is a Folk Tale. In folktales their is a message the author is sending.
Reading Homework: Your child is to read chapter 1 ONLY. There is a graphic organizer your child will be using during Reading. They must read like a DETECTIVE to figure out clues so they can DETERMINE the author’s purpose for writing the text. Your child is very familiar with using the graphic organizer and taking notes during reading.
