Suggested Physical & Health Activities
At Stout safety/your health is our number one concern. If you are sick please refrain from going out in public. Wash your hands and do your best to maintain proper hygiene. Take universal precautions when in public and do your best over break to maintain some type of physical activity/health awareness.
Here are some activities/plans that you can do to maintain the standards of Dearborn Public Schools:
Fitness testing (see fitness charts for your individual recommended scores):
Mon(3/16)-Tues(3/17)
20-30 minutes of physical activity walking/elevated heart rate
Please write down your activities in a daily planner/log
Wed(3/18)-Thurs(3/19)
½ mile run, 1 minute push up, 1 minute sit ups (Boys /Girls Charts)
Write down times and fitness scores in your daily planner/log
Compare your score to the recommended fitness charts.
Friday(3/20)
Stretching, mile run, cool down
Write down your time in your daily planner/log
Compare your score to the recommended fitness charts.
Mon (3/23)

Hygiene
What are habits that all middle school students should be doing daily for proper hygiene?
Research best practices and self-reflect on whether or not you are maintaining proper hygiene.
Wed (4/1)
Nutrition
What are your daily eating habits? Research what the recommended nutritional food options are for your age. Self-reflect on what changes you do to have a better diet. What are your drinking habits? Do you drink enough water? Research the amount of liquids you should be drinking and self-reflect on possible adjustments you can make.
Thurs(4/2)
Sleep Habits
What are your daily sleep habits? Research what are the recommended daily sleeping habits for someone your age. What adjustments can you make if necessary to your sleeping habits?
Fri (4/3)
How much time do you watch TV/play on your phone/play video games? Researches what the recommended amount of times is for these activities. If you are over the recommended times can you make adjustments or are you fine with that choice. Self-reflect and write down your thoughts.
