* Winter Break Homework *

*In order for students not to fall behind during the break it is important that they continue practicing their ELA, math, social studies, and science skills. We will be taking the NWEA test when we return in January and this test helps to determine if students are falling behind or succeeding.

HOMEWORK:

Students took home a packet today (Thursday) with reading and math work.

(Above) Read every day- Write the name of the book on the lines and then build a snow fort around the brain brick by brick. Each day that a book is read equals one brick.

(Above) Math- Each day students should complete the math problems shown. 13 problems each day (one column per day).

In addition students have scholastic news articles that they can read over the break.

Other homework:

Spelling – Work on spelling every day

Websites: Zearn, ABCya, Benchmark, Readworks, Reading Eggs

(Basically anything on the Clever Page or Google Classroom)

*If your student meets with Ms. Ali – they have reading and writing homework assigned from her. (If you have any questions regarding her homework please message her on class dojo)
