Summer Break

It is proven that over summer students slide back from what they have learned. Summer break is usually about 10 weeks but due to Covid-19 students will have been away from their classrooms for 22 weeks (March – August). Due to this it is extremely important that you continue to provide opportunities to learn and practice their skills during the summer so that they will be prepared for 2nd grade.

Below are many sites that you can utilize over the summer break for each academic category (as well as other options that are available to you, such as reading books, counting by 2’s, etc).

* Go through your students school folders & notebooks
