Celebration Assembly

Tuesday February 11th is the Celebration Assembly at 1:45 in the Gym.

I sent an invitation on class dojo if they are receiving an award (some of the specials teachers have not reached out to me yet).

If your student is not getting an award at this celebration, please encourage them to be happy for their friends and work hard to earn one at the next assembly. The criteria for awards is below (things to work on for next time).

We will have more celebrations like this during the school year.

Please know ALL parents are invited to celebrate student success even if your child is not receiving an award this time.

Award Criteria

Principal’s Award / Honor Roll / Most Improved: NWEA scores & Report Card grades

Math Masters: Top three quickest/ most correct responses on the Math-A-Thon

Mathematicians (do not receive awards but are recognized): All students with 80% accuracy

Bucket Fillers: Follow Oakman rules, core values and are up-standers.

Attendance: Recipients may have three ( ½ day) excused absences per semester. Students must be present and on time (0 tardies).
