Oakman Staff have come up with a new way to recognize and celebrate all of the hard work that students have been doing online.
Starting this week there will be a “Student of the Week” in each class. The student of the week will be published on the Oakman blog and will be awarded different classroom jobs or perks throughout the week.
Please read the information below to find out how students qualify as well as the rewards they will receive.
It is my hope that all of my wonderful first graders will be given this special title before the year is up!
Student of the Week Criteria – First Grade
Student has good attendance.
Student turns in all homework assignments.
Student attends all Learning Lab sessions.
Student demonstrates excellent behavior inside the classroom.
*If multiple students meet the criteria then they will be put into a drawing for that week, with one student receiving the title for the upcoming week.
Student of the Week Reward
Monday – Show & Tell (bring something to Zoom to share with us in the morning)
Tuesday – Calendar Leader
Wednesday – Dress up (hat, crazy hair, fancy, etc)
Thursday – Word of the Day/ Number of the Day Leader
Friday – Homework Pass (no hw today!)
