Reminder: There is no school today or Monday due to Labor Day Break
To prepare for next Tuesday (Our first “real” day of school)
Students will need to practice the following:
- Log onto https://dearbornschools.org/student-portal/ and click on “Schoology”.
- Log into Schoology and click on courses (on top) and then scroll down until they see “Ms. Hoffman’s First Grade Class – Room 103” (they will see a picture icon – not the blue classes).
- Click on “Ms. Hoffman’s First Grade Class – Room 103”
- At 8:55 am, every morning, students will click on the zoom link that will appear in the schoology classroom for their live lesson.
- (If you need help watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1p_RrwwipWE&feature=youtu.be)

*If you are having difficulty logging in please see this post https://iblog.dearbornschools.org/hoffmae/technology-help/ for more assistance. It is a good idea to practice logging in to schoology before Tuesday so if there are any technical difficulties they can be sorted out before class starts.
*Once class starts at 9:00 on Tuesday I will be teaching live to students and will not be able to check my email or help students get online. Thus it is important to practice during the week and call the help desk at 313-827-8400 if you need assistance or email me at hoffmae@dearbornschools.org if you are having problems over the weekend.
Students please watch this video. Think about the place in your house that you will be doing your school work at. Do you need to organize your materials? Are you prepared? What do these students do to get their spaces ready? What did one of the students do that did not help them get ready?
