Monday Sept. 3rd

Homework will start going home today.

Math: Students will have a homework math book and math bag that they bring home everyday and return everyday to school.

Today there will be no math homework because we will be testing in NWEA (for the rest of the week).

Spelling: Students will also have daily spelling homework with spelling tests on Friday. (This week we have a easy list to ease students into practicing and testing)

Today’s spelling homework is to finish Monday and Tuesday (started in class).

Reading: Book bags will go home with students and come back to school everyday. Students will read for 20 minutes a day and mark off their R.E.D. folder reading charts. (Until students are tested in reading they will have a variety of books up to the first grade reading level to practice with.)

Today’s reading homework – Read for 20 minutes and sign folder.
