Hello Friends,

This week’s science project is about the parts of a pumpkin. You do not need a pumpkin for the activity. This is a great activity to do with our students before you carve pumpkins for Halloween or to make pumpkin seeds. Using scissors is not an easy task for our students. It helps if you have the student cut the main parts out and have the adult cut out the detailed parts.

Weekly Science Project For 9/29/20

Hello Friends,

Attached is a copy of our weekly science project the family can do together at home. Directions to the project can be found on the link below and in this weeks take-home packet. Texture and temperature lessons help our students understand adjectives such as cold, hot, rough, and smooth.

  1. Pre-measure any measurement into a small cup to to prevent spills and overuse.
  2. When adding ingredients please assist hand-over-hand will prevent spills.
  3. Let the student see and feel the item before and after.
  4. Show and say the name of each ingredient.
