P.E. Assignment Make up for June 1st – June 11th

Hello,

During the next two weeks, I would like students to make up any missing Google Classroom assignments/exercice logs from prior weeks. I will also accept pictures or videos of students exercising to show participation, instead of the Google Classroom assignments/exercise logs. These can be either sent to me through email or you can post them on Google Classroom. I will accept assignments till 10 a.m. on June 11th.

Howard Special Area Weekly Announcement

Good Morning Howard Dragons!

Thank you to all students and families who are participating in their special area classes and sharing with us your participation!  We love to see what you are doing and we miss you!

You ARE getting grades from each of your specialist teachers!

Specialists will not be posting any new lessons.  

Please take this time to complete any lessons you have missed!  

ALL LESSON SUBMISSIONS are DUE BY 10:00AM THURSDAY, JUNE 11, 2020.  

Please vote for the masked singer from Mrs. Bagnall this week.  

Music and Art will post a video Friday this week doing the DRAWING FOR PRIZES for the students that have submitted lessons. 

Many student artworks have been posted on the Howard El. Art Studio blog in the Student Gallery!  Your art might be in there!  Look for it and/or see what others have created!

Elementary Grading Criteria – COVID-19 School Shutdown

For the current marking period:

Students receive feedback on weekly assignments in the form of narrative comments. 

  • Meeting:  regularly submitted work and attended check-ins
    • High participation
  • Progressing:  Submitted most assignments and attended some of the check-ins
  • Limited Participation:  with one of the following explanations
    • Rarely or did not submit work 
    • Rarely attended check-in sessions 
    • Family hardship during the time of instruction
