Day 12: I’m your huckleberry! This week we are heading out West to look at some American cowboy stories. “Always take a good look at what you’re about to eat. It’s not so important to know what it is, but it’s sure crucial to know what it was.” Look below to make your choices for this week’s films.
Movie #1 is my favorite Western and usually one of the most popular movies of the year. Doc Holliday steals the show with his one-liners. The movie is Tombstone.I hope you enjoy it. You can choose to either complete and submit the attached 6 square and written response or write a movie review by Wednesday.

Day 11: Good morning and welcome to week three of remote learning. Today we will begin the next unit, Unit 7 JFK & LBJ The 1960s. Many people see this unit as their favorite because of the introduction of President Kennedy. The first thing you should do is to set-up a new section in your binder and title it Unit 7. Then, print or download the new Unit 7 Studyguide, make sure you read it. Next, you will complete the Chapter 20 Guided Tour. Finally, I will share the Unit 7 Quizlet link with you so you can practice with the vocabulary for the unit. There is nothing to turn in today, just complete the guided tour and keep it in your Unit 7 section in your binder.

U.S. History Extended Learning Activity
You will find two extended learning activities attached. Both activities will ask you to watch old TV shows based on 1950s events/life. You can do them both, if you’re really bored or you even find the shows entertaining. My family used to watch both of these shows when I was your age. Print the 6 square sheets for the show(s) you want to watch and then search the internet for old reruns of the show. When you are done take a picture of your work and send it to me on Remind. Enjoy.
Leave it to Beaver 6 Square below.
