Nutrition and Healthy Eating
We learned yesterday that Vitamin C provides many benefits like preventing sickness! We also know that smoothie’s are a great way to make sure we are getting enough vitamin rich fruits and veggies.

Ingredients:
• 1 orange peeled and de-segmented
• 1 chopped banana fresh or frozen
• 1 cup low fat milk
• 1 cup ice optional
• Optional Vitamin C-rich additions (½ cup strawberries, ½ cup pineapple; 1 carrot)
Directions:
