Sallie Mae is proving a free webinar on either Wednesday, June 9th or Thursday, June 10th regarding everything you need to know about scholarships. Students and parents/guardians are highly encouraged to register below for one of the two dates to learn key tips on finding and winning with more free money for college. You are encouraged to register early since space is limited.
AAYSP launched a Virtual Mentoring Program to serve high school and college students. The platform can be used by students to gain insights into a field of study and seeking advice from a professional. Students can visit: https://mentoring-aaysp.org/our-mentors/ to make an appointment with one of our mentors. There are more than 35 mentors in different fields. This resource is free for all students!
Wayne State University is offering a one-week online program called “Brains 101”, which is designed for high school students who are interested in neuroscience, where it aims to introduce this field through brain dissections, research presentations alongside interactive activities, career development presentations, etc. Any student with at least a 3.0 GPA or higher is eligible to participate. There is a $250 fee, however, there will be five scholarships available upon application review. If you are interested, please fill out the form below.
