Nichole Hartrick has been teaching Band and Orchestra in the Dearborn Public School District since 2014 and is proud to have been at STEM since day one. Mrs. Hartrick graduated with a Bachelor of Music Major and Marketing Minor from Eastern Michigan University in 2005. Soon after, she moved to New York City where she worked in various careers including PR in the music industry, fine jewelry manufacturing and education non-profit. In 2010 she moved to Detroit and continued to work in the non-profit realm while she completed her education certification.

In addition to teaching, Mrs. Hartrick is an avid performer in the Detroit scene. She plays saxophone, clarinet and sings with the Post Imperial Jazz Band, saxophone with the Detroit Party Marching Band and various instruments with experimental jazz outfit Fluffy Gull. She also is a founding member of the Crash Detroit Festival of Street Bands that takes place in Detroit each summer.
