Good Morning!

Once again, as a HUGE reminder, if you wont be here tomorrow, or even have the slightest chance of not being here tomorrow, you will need to take the test today. I have after school tutoring today where you can stay and take the test (or come in during lunch). The card marking ends tomorrow! 

Today in class, we will begin the hour by reviewing for tomorrow’s test (39 questions that are multiple choice, vocabulary matching, 2 short answers of “What factors influenced the outcome of the Persian Wars?” and “How did Alexander build his empire?”,  followed by some class time to work on our study guides and checking them! Students will be given a notecard that they can fill out and use on the test from the study guide – nothing can hang off the notecard.

Homework: 1. Study for Chapter 28/30 Test, Tomorrow! 2. Fill out your notecard to use on the test! 3. IF YOU WONT BE HERE LET ME KNOW!

Good Morning!

As a huge reminder, PLEASE Make sure you let me know if you will be absent on Friday or not, due to the test we are taking on Friday. The test will be 50 points, 39 questions – 12 matching of vocabulary, multiple choice, and the two essential questions of, “How did Alexander build his empire?” (4 sentences) and “What factors influenced the outcome of the Persian Wars?” (3 sentences). 

Today in class, we will use our ATG worksheets to fill poster boards to fill in information about Alexanders life, we will then present them!

Today in class, we will discuss ATG and his growing empire through our 30.2-30.4 worksheets. We will then individually learn about how ATG built his empire through spreading Greek ideas, using religion, how he adopted cultures and when his empire ended with our face worksheets.

Good Morning!

Today in class, we will review the Persian War battle Cornell notes, followed by reviewing the Peloponnesian War worksheet. After students will have the time to finish up all around the world and work on their Chapter 28/30 study guide. If time permits, we will begin our next chapter over Alexander the Great!

Good Morning!

Today in class, students will receive the Chapter 28/30 Study guide. Ch2830SG They can work on Number 1, 3-14. I will then collect their Summary 1 and 2 that is due at the BEGINNING of the hour, and review a notebook check. Most notebooks will be graded today – UPDATE After 3rd hour – not all notebooks were checked today, they will be checked tomorrow! – Grades will be updated and on student connect/parent connect if you know they are missing.! We will review our Chapter 28 Cornell Notes, followed by working on our Chapter 28 Notes and Cornell Notes! Students will visit various Persian War Posters and get the notes in their Chapter 28 notes based on the board under “Major Facts”.
