  1. Signed Syllabus due Monday. Do not cut the last page, just sign it and put it in your binder.
  2. Supplies are due. No exceptions or excuses. Supplies are:5 subject notebook, binder 1.5 inch, 10 tabs, colored pen (preferably red NO BLACK), highlighters, ruler,  graph paper, pencils, erasers.
  3. Chapter P ws 1 is due Monday. After watching the video, do your best on the worksheet.
  4. The 10 tabs of the binder will be used for the whole year and they should be labeled as follow (also this will be checked Monday):
  • Tab 1: Bellwork/SAT prep
  • Tab 2:Prerequisites or chapter P
  •  

    Tab 3: Chapter 1

  •  

    Tab 4: Chapter 2

  • Tab 5: Chapter 3
  • Tab 6: Chapter 4
  • Tab 7: Chapter 5
  • Tab 8: Chapter 7
  • Tab 9: Chapter 8
  • Tab 10: Chapter 9

5. Your 5 subject notebook should be divided as follow:

         Bellwork/ Notes/ Homework/SAT prep/Khan Academy

6. Copy the following notes in the notes section of your notebook. This is what we will be talking about on Monday.

  • Seniors will have an assembly during second hour and will be required to complete the work in class on Friday
  • The four 4’s challenge: Can you find every number between 1 and 20 using only four 4’s and any operation? Here’s an example √4 + √4 + 4⁄4 =5

  • Talk about message cards and tardy sign in sheet.
  • Subscribe to the blog
  • Create a Khan Academy account and add me as a coach. Here are the instructions.
    • Sign up at khanacademy.org
    • Visit khanacademy.org/coaches
    • In the Add a coach field enter the class code

  • watch KA video and complete the practice worksheet  (both found under resources tab) (due Monday)
