Spring Cleaning!
It’s time to clean out our folders and only keep review tools.
YOU MUST KEEP THE FOLLOWING…
1- Strategy Cards for all units. (We have strategy cards for Geometry, Adding/subtracting/multiplying fractions and decimals, and for Expressions and Equations. They are usually Orange or Pink).
2- SLOT booklets
YOU MAY RECYCLE THE FOLLOWING…
1- Worksheets for all units. We will be starting a new unit (Ratios) when we come back from break
2- Old tests. Just keep your tests for the 5th card marking. (Equations test and Inequalities test),
Spring Break homework
During spring break you have the following tasks to work on:
1- Rational Number Adventure (click the link below for directions and an example)
2) IXL Y6, P1 and P2 (to 100) You will turn in your work for 10 problems from each of the IXL’s.
If you would like to “run with it,” I recommend completing the following IXL’s as well Y7 and Y8 for 6th grade level. Also, K6 and k8 (5th grade).
I hope you all have a refreshing break and come back even more pumped to learn and grow. See you on the flip side!
