Peek at the Week
- Our story this week was Our Class Family by Shannon Olsen. A great story for the beginning of the school year. We really do function like a family. Our class has a bunch of loving grandmas looking after our kiddos. Click the Button Below and enjoy the story at home with your child.
- This week we started the new ULS unit, I Can Follow the Rules,
- We practiced our numbers 1-10 and sang songs about counting
- We are practicing our shapes and common food vocabulary words
- We are reviewing core vocabulary words

- We had a great first week of school!
- The students have been working on getting back into learning our classroom schedule and routines
- Special Classes started Tuesday Afternoon
- Our story this week was Pigeon Has To Go To School by Mo Williams. Click the Button Below and enjoy the story at home with your child.

Welcome Back!!!!
Hello All! It is so exciting that school starts next week!
School will start at 8:25 a.m. and go until 3:20 p.m., with half days ending at 11:30 a.m.
Monday, August 26th, will be the first day of school for the 2024-2025 School Year. This will be a 1/2 day for students and teachers will attend professional development in the afternoon. I have missed the children and I am looking forward to seeing them.
Please have a bag with an extra set of clothes in your child’s backpack! (shirt, pants, underwear and socks). Please label this. They will be kept at school in case of any accidents.

- Our story this week was The Night Before New Year’s by Little Readers. It is a fun story about a family ringing in the New Year. Staying awake until midnight is not easy! I didn’t make it. Did you? Click the link below and enjoy the story at home with your child. Reading the same stories at home helps the students make a home/school connection and allows them the chance to let you know what they have been reading all week at school

- We are learning about fractions this month.

Valentine’s Day Party
Our Valentine’s Party will be on Wednesday, February 14th. This is a special time for the kids to remember those whom they care about. Most children really look forward to giving and receiving Valentine cards. Below you will find our class name list. Please send your child’s Valentine cards once you have prepared them. Help your child fill them out at home and send them in a bag with their name clearly marked on the outside. We do not have time to do them for your child at school.. Thank you for your help!
