Peek at the Week
- Our story this week was We’re Going On A Leaf Hunt by Steve Metzger. In this story an adorable group of children head off for a leaf hunt and discover all kinds of colorful leaves. - Our letter of the week was Dd. D is for dog.
- On Wednesday, we went out for community based instruction. We visited the Dollar Store, 5 Below, Marshalls, and Krogers. We bought all the supplies we needed for the month of October
- We celebrated Leslie’s birthday. She turned 66 on October 1st
- The U of M Creative Needs students came to decorate pumpkins with the kids.

- Our story this week was Pete the Cat Rocking In My School Shoes by Eric Litwin. Click the button below and enjoy the story at home with your child. By doing this at home, it helps the students make a home/school connection and allows them the chance to let you know that they have been reading the story all week at school.
- We also read, The Wheels on the Bus using AAC devices. The children love reading to each other.
- We practiced our numbers 1-10 and sang songs about counting
- We learned about the letter B. We played with bubbles, balls, balloons. We made banana ice cream. B is such a fun and delicious letter.

Classroom Changes
On Monday, September 6th, we welcomed Gianna Carlton to our classroom and it was also her birthday! Happy 3rd birthday sweet girl.
