Peek at the Week

• We finished the ULS unit on Pets this week. We have been reading and singing about the different animals all month. It was a fun unit!
• This week was full of Halloween Fun as we end the month of October. We decorated Trick or Treat bags, went Trick or Treating and decorated pumpkins.
• We read several Halloween Story this week. Our main focus was a story called Spooky Frog. In this silly story we practiced prepositional words.
• Our letter this week was the letter F

Happy Halloween

We had a blast for our Halloween Fun on Thursday Afternoon. Thank you to all the families for making the day a special one. Be sure to look at the pictures on Class Dojo. Cutest Kids Ever!

Online Instruction

On Monday, November 2nd we will beginning our Daily Zoom Sessions at 1:00. On Tuesday the Students have the day off. There will be no zoom sessions on November 3rd. Every family should have received a new link in their email with the following information:

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on November 5th, 10th, and 17th from 3 pm to 6:30 pm. These conferences will be held via Zoom. Please let me know what day and time is good for you and I will set it up and send you a zoom link. The only times I am currently not available are on Tuesday and Thursday from 6-6:30. I have individual zoom sessions during these times. Feel free to call, text or email with a time that works for you. I look forward to hearing from you.

Peek at the Week

• The ULS unit theme this month is Life Science and the unit topic is Pets.  We have been reading and singing about different animals. Our story this week was The Best Pet Ever by Victoria Roberts. In this adorable book, a little girl uses her imagination as she makes a rock, glove, candy wrapper, and balloon into the best pet ever….for a day of two. In the end, her mom surprises her with a kitten.
• We made pet rocks, practiced animal patterns, did writing activities about pets, sorted pets and zoo animals and did 1-1 counting correspondence activities with animals.
• We had a real bird visit our classroom this week. The staff thought it was cool, the kids, not so much.
• Our letter this week was the letter E

Halloween Plans

Due to COVID19, Halloween activities are not permitted on school grounds. On October 29th, the students are welcome to wear their costumes to school and we will celebrate with our own activities during Learning Labs.

Parent/Teacher Conferences
