Hello Families!

We are so excited about Fridays all school field trip! We wanted to update you on the final plan so we all know what to do….

*If possible please wear a Howe school shirt OR red shirt so we can easily find each other throughout the day.

*Please drop your child off at Howe at the normal time (8:20 am) OR if they ride the bus do that as normal.

*Students will board the buses and leave around 9:15 am.

*All chaperones will be meeting us at the entrance benches at 9:30 am. Teachers will have the tickets for their classrooms to pass out.

*Once inside make sure you are walking around and finding other Howe friends. Work on completing the scavenger hunt!

*At 12:30 pm please meet in Lunchroom A. (This is in the hallway by Michigan Cafe).

*At 1:15 pm please meet back at the entrance READY TO LEAVE. (*If you want to sign out your child and not have them come back to Howe please come around 1:10 so we can sign you out before we load buses.)

*All students not signed out by a parent will be taken back to Howe and dismissed like normal at 3:20 pm.

Please let your teacher know if you have any questions! We look forward to this experience with all of our Howe students.

Through her brave attitude, and silly humor, Morah is an inspiration for us all. Peek at the Week

  • Our story this week was, The Little Valentine by Hands on Holiday Reading. In this classroom favorite, someone comes knocking at the door. Who can it be? It is our animal friends bringing valentines. The valentines have messages that are fun to read, and it’s fun to figure out who gets which one. The story is rhyming and predictable, so the children can tell a part of the story using a big mack button. Your kiddos all love to help read the story. Click on the button below to enjoy the story at home with your child. Reading the same stories at home helps the students make a home/school connection and allows them the chance to let you know what they have been reading all week at school

Valentine’s Day Party

Our Valentine’s Party will be on Friday, February 14th.  This is a special time for the kids to remember those whom they care about.  Most children really look forward to giving and receiving Valentine cards.  Below you will find our class name list.  Please send your child’s Valentine cards once you have prepared them.  Help your child fill them out at home and send them in a bag with their name clearly marked on the outside.  We do not have time to do them for your child at school..  Thank you for your help!
