Classroom Changes
On Monday we welcome a new friend to our classroom family. Ayash just turned 3 this month. He is a happy little guy with a contagious laugh.
Peek at the Week
- Our story this week was, Going on an Egg Hunt by Hands on Holiday Reading. We have so much fun with this story as it uses rhythms and hand movements of the classroom favorite We’re going on a Bear Hunt. This time it is eggs we are hunting for. It’s an ideal story for focusing on colors and spatial concepts and lending itself to all kinds of springtime fun. What child can resist an egg hunt? Certainly none of ours. So many giggles and laughs.
- We made peep play dough to play with.
- Our math focus this month is opposites. What’s Up Duck? is a great spring book to practice opposites.
- The Unique Learning System topic for the month of April is Economics. We continue to learn about tools and construction which seems to be everywhere!
- Our letter this week was the letter Yy
