Newsletter for the Week of January 8th

Peek at the Week

  • Our story this week is Sneezy the Snowman by Maureen Write. This colorful story tells a tale of a snowman who is too cold and what happens when he tries to warm up! Click on the button below to enjoy the story at home with your child. Reading the same stories at home helps the students make a home/school connection and allows them the chance to let you know what they have been reading all week at school
  • We practice counting how many letters are in our names and then made snowmen ice cream cones with the letters.
  • For sciene this week we explored the difference between hot and cold. We felt the difference between cold and warm items.
  • Our letter this week was the letter L.
  • For math this month, we are practicing fractions
  • The Unique Learning System topic for January is I Can See, I Can Hear, I Can Smell as we explore our 5 sense for life science
