Newsletter for Week of November 4th

Congrats to Elora Swincicki

She was nominated for The Kindness Award. Elora is kind to everyone and spreads sunshine every where she goes!

Peek at the Week

  • Our story this week was In November by Cynthia Rylant. This colorful story looks at all that is special about November. Reading the same stories at home helps the students make a home/school connection and allows them the chance to let you know what they have been reading all week at school
  • The ULS unit this month is on physical science and geography as we learn about different ways to get from here to there. The literacy book that goes with this unit is Whose Vehicle is it? by Sharon Cooper.
  • We learned about the letter I this week. I is for ice cream. We love any reason to eat ice cream.
  • This month we are learning about the math concept of less and more
