A Look Ahead

Hello everyone, as we enjoy our last day of the weekend I wanted to update everyone on the week ahead. As Information from the district keeps being shared, it sounds like the ACT 18 program (which we are apart of) will be allowed to resume our face to face learning labs on Tuesday, February 16th. Leaving us at our last week of virtual learning, starting tomorrow Monday, February 8th.

Learning labs will run the same way before the shut down in November. I do not have information on bussing yet, but from what I was told bussing will resume the same as it was in November before we suspended face to face learning.

I will be teaching virtually in the mornings for our younger students that are remaining virtual at this time and teaching Learning Labs from 12:15 pm to 2:45 pm. When the district moves into in-person instruction.  Our class will follow the same schedule as their peers. Considering the nature of our students in the program and classroom size, once in-person instruction resumes for the district, all ACT 18 students will return to full time. 

If you have any questions of concerns I am available, Please reach out via email, text or call! I will also be reaching out throughout this week to touch base and make sure we are all on the same page for our return to school on Tuesday, February 16th.

Lastly, I wanted to remind everyone that we have our mid-winter break coming up this week. Friday, February 12th and Monday, February 15th are No School Days for mid winter break! I will remind everyone again towards the end of the week

Return to Learn Update

The average positivity rate came in at 6.2% this week.  As a result, we are not able to open in-person learning labs next week. While we didn’t meet the criteria this week, this is more than a 1% improvement since last week.  We are definitely moving in the right direction.
