💕Social Emotional Lessons💕

Hello Families!

I hope you are all doing well and in perfect health! I know these times can be stressful for you and your littles. I am sharing some very helpful lessons on strengthening our emotional beings with healthy ways to cope during this time. These are not mandatory lessons but beneficial for everyone. This is such a new situation for all of us, which brings about uncharted emotions. Along with academics, it is crucial we teach our littles how to understand and handle the different feelings they’re experiencing. Enjoy and be well! Miss you all!

Interdependent Relationships in Ecosystems-how do seeds disperse (scatter, spread)

1)Watch:

https://mysteryscience.com/plants/mystery-1/seed-dispersal/84?t=student

2)Use a notebook to title/date the activity and give your guesses to questions in the video.

In this Mystery, students will learn how seeds must get away from their parent plant in order to survive. In the activity, Fly Your Own Seed, students create a model seed from paper. Then, they release these seeds to model how they disperse and observe if any seeds are able to escape the parent plant’s “Zone of Darkness” and survive.

  • Tuesday-Know your street addresses
  • Wednesday-Name all the people in your families and extended families and know what each family member does and enjoys
