Updates…

  • Today everyone brought home a bag with cards and directions for a math game. This game provides practice on some of the skills we are working on during Unit 1.  Please return the bag on Monday or Tuesday after you have had a chance to play 🙂
  • Spelling test on Monday and red spelling notebooks will be checked and graded.
  • Math test for Unit 1 will be on Wednesday.  You can use our pretest as a study guide if you would like to.  Just click unit-1-math and print it out.
  • Next week is Spirit Week.  The theme came home in a note on Wednesday.  In case you missed it, the days will be…Monday: College t-shirt/sweatshirt,  Tuesday:  pj’s/comfy clothes,  Wednesday:  Dress as your future career/dream job, Thursday:  Dress to impress,  Friday:  show your Howard spirit
  • We had an assembly for International Peace Day on Wednesday.  Students made pinwheels in art and learned a song about peace in music to go along with our assembly.
  • Last, but not least, we did a fun science activity that focused on properties of matter.  Students had to use their supplies to build a hat that would block out the sun.  I think they did a pretty great job 😉
