Here are a few pictures I have collected over the last few weeks:

• April PBIS reward tomorrow! We will watch some of the Tigers game.  Students are able to bring in a special snack/drink – junk food is okay for this one.
• Students have Scholastic News homework tonight in their home folders.

Looking ahead:

• Just a reminder that spelling is not due until Monday.
• You guys are the best!!!  We have plenty of drivers/chaperones for our field trip next week 🙂  Thank you!!
• Date change:  Due to field day being scheduled for June 13th, our picnic will now be on Tuesday, June 14th.

• Spelling words will come home tomorrow.  That means the test will not be until Monday.
• So far, we have enough drivers to transport 14 students on the bowling field trip.  Permission slips are due on Friday!
• Math test tomorrow – the study guide was posted a few days ago, but here it is again if you need it:  Math Review- Unit 9

• We are planning on doing our PBIS reward (watching some of the Tigers game) on Thursday afternoon.  Students are able to bring in a special snack/drink – junk food is okay for this one 🙂
• The can/bottle drive has started.  If you have returnable, empty bottles or cans we are collecting them for the next few weeks.  Please rinse them out before you send them in.

• the permission slip for bowling will come home.  This trip depends on parent drivers so please fill out the slip and return it as soon as possible.

is tomorrow (Friday).  Students who would like to wear a hat are asked to donate $1.  The money will go towards the PBIS store that they earn prizes from for staying on green.

Their homework tonight was to write me a letter about how they felt about our field trip today.  I thought it was great, hopefully they did, too 🙂

• New spelling words for this week will be given out tomorrow.  The test will be on Monday.
• If you haven’t already, please return your picture envelope (or money if you plan on purchasing the pictures) by tomorrow!
• Our trip to the historical museum is Wednesday.  Thanks to Mr. Wolski, Mrs. Arteaga, and Ms. Wright for being our chaperones for this trip.  We will be back at school by lunchtime, so please plan to pack or buy lunch like normal.
• LOOKING AHEAD:   We have just confirmed a field trip to Ford Lanes in Dearborn Heights for Wednesday, May 4th.  We will leave school right after lunch at 12:30 and return to school by 3:15.  I wanted to let you know now because we WILL need parent drivers for this trip! More information will follow, but if you are willing to be a parent driver for this trip, please let me know 🙂

• We are going on a field trip to the Dearborn Historical Museum next week! Permission slips were sent home today and are due this Friday along with $5. We will need a few chaperones, so please check the box on the permission slip if you are interested. Please remember you must be on the Howard Volunteer List to join us. If you have questions, you can call the office.
• Spring pictures went home today. If you would like to purchase any of the pictures, please send the form and payment back or pay online. If you are not interested, please return the envelope with portraits to school within 7 days.
• Curriculum Night is this Thursday! Come on up to Howard from 5:00-6:30 for lots of fun math and literacy activities.
