Hello Again!

A giant welcome to our new subscribers!!! Today in your child’s ‘home’ folder there were a few notes from the PTA, a message from Mr. Haliburda, and a 2nd grade flipbook from me. Please take a minute to sort through it all – and please use the magnet on the back of the flipbook and stick it to your refrigerator (just in case) 🙂
We started “Read to Self” today by making our I-chart and doing some book browsing. I did tell the students that they could bring a couple of books from home to keep in their box if they wanted to.
PBIS card flips will start Monday. If you aren’t familiar with our system, please check the 2nd grade flipbook for an explanation. If you still have questions, let me know!
Just a heads up: I have a conflict with Open House next week that I cannot fix…SO, I will not be here on Thursday night for that. Don’t panic!! The room will be open for you to visit anyway and I will be here for the picnic on Tuesday so you can see me there 🙂
