Welcome back from break and to a new year! I hope everyone had the opportunity to relax over the past two weeks. We began the new year by reviewing a few key concepts that are needed to comprehend The Giver. We reviewed characterization and the close and critical chart and practiced applying these ideas to The Giver. We also reviewed chapters ten and eleven that were read over break.
