With our year underway, I am finally getting to updating this year’s iblog. The kids were delighted that I will be including some photos of them working on art projects in the room.  We have been learning about shapes and lines and patterns as well as practicing the routines and procedures of the artroom. Third graders get to check out books from the artroom library, something they are very excited about. I am also introducing some new centers this year for continuous creative opportunities in the artroom. Generously donated to the artroom by Salina teachers, we now have manipulatives to create and design with when the children finish their artwork for the day. I also hope to have the two computers  up and running with various art programs and educational software.
