The first graders have been working so hard on their Snake and Ladders Game. Our spinners were mad by creating circles divided into parts, first in 1/3s and then in 1/6s. We also used shape stencils to create the arrow. The board making began with a printmaking lesson using vinyl erasers and markers to transfer our squares to the board. The kids stamped their numbers and then formed the snakes and ladders from stems. I hot glued the mini sculptures to the boards and they were very excited to start playing.
