We are wrapping up our unit on printmaking and design. The kids will be creating their own tie dye bookmarks with a image transfer process that incudes their name.  We have finished the noun books that hi-light a variety of subjects…landscapes(places), still life(things), and portraits(people). The kids each got a clear box to protect their book. The boxes were re-purposed in order to protect the students work and to increase it’s longevity. I hope our daily efforts to repurpose scrap paper for sketch paper encourage a habit of “reduce, reuse, and recycle”.  Environmental consciousness is never a waste.
