Hello Families!

This week we will have book check out in the morning and a fire safety assembly in the cafeteria on Monday. We will also be going to the Firehouse later this month on October 22nd. This is a short and free field trip, no chaperones required. The students will only need a permission slip to ride the bus. Please sign and return.

Our Field Trip to Greenfield Village will be all day on Thursday. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather as we will be outside all day. If you signed up to be a chaperone, please be at the school at 8:45. All students will need a bag lunch.Friday will be a 1/2 day with an 11:45 am dismissal

Here is our focus for the week:

Math: We will continue learning strategies for multiplying and dividing. Students should be going on http://www.zearn.com daily.

Science: We will continue to be studying patterns of motion and how changing one variable affects how an object moves.

Social Studies: We will be studying the different regions that Michigan belongs to and what makes each region unique.

Reading: This week we are starting informational text. We will be learning how to ask and answer questions by citing text evidence.

Writing: We will be revising our personal narratives by focusing on using precise word choice and dialogue.
