Hello Families, the money and permission slip for our February field trip are due today. Report cards were sent home on Friday. Please keep the report card and sign and send back the envelope. We will have book check out in the afternoon. Tuesday we will take our last NWEA test on Language. Please make sure your child gets a good night of rest and a healthy breakfast. Here is our focus for the week:

Reading: We are learning to determine the main idea of a text and recount the key details to explain how they support the main idea.

Writing: We will continue to research our severe weather topics for writing our informational books.

Math:We are learning to apply properties to multiply and divide.

Science:We will continue to learn about climate and read graphs to make claims.

Social Studies: We are learning about major kinds of economic activities in Michigan and explaining how tourism brings in money for the state.
