Thank you to the family members that came with us to Greenfield Village last week. Make sure to check out the photos in the previous post. The weather is getting colder, so please make sure your child is dressed accordingly. Wednesday is a late start, and Friday is picture day. An order form will be coming home today if you are interested in purchasing photos. Here is our focus for the week.
Math: We will be using a variety of strategies to multiply and divide numbers. Please make sure your child has time at home to go on Zearn daily. All math quizzes need to be returned Tuesday signed by a parent.
Science: We will be observing patterns of motion with a spinning top. All Science tests need to be returned Thursday signed by a parent.
Social Studies: We we be learning about Michigan as part of the Midwest region and the Great Lakes region.
Reading: We will focus on understanding academic vocabulary in informational text using context clues. We will also be learning about text features and how they help us understand informational text.
Writing: We will be editing and revising our personal narratives and then begin publishing them.
