Finish Assignment # 8, where students are solving integer addition problems using a number line.

Hours 1,3: Problems 1-5
Hours 4,5,6: Problems 1-8

Hours 1,3: Finish problems 1-15 on Assignment # 6. Must draw chip model for each problem.
Hours 4,5,6: Finish 1-18 on Assignment # 6. Must draw chip models.

We worked on adding integers using the Chip Board model today.

Hours 1,3: Finish problems 1-10 on Assignment # 5.
Hours 4,5,6: Finish problems 1-17 on Assignment # 5.

Students should have a picture drawn for every problem.

Finish the “Real Life Situation” chart on the back of assignment 3.
(Front of assignment 3 should have been finished in class today).

This blog will keep you updated on the day to day happenings in Mr. Suni’s 7th grade math classes. Both 7th grade regular math and 7th grade Pre-Algebra will get updates on this same blog. When the classes are working on different things, I will specify accordingly.

Open House is Wednesday, September 13 at 6:00 pm. During Open House, I will not be updating on student progress in the class. I will merely be giving an overview of the class, as well as introducing myself.

You should have received a syllabus that goes over everything for the class.

Also, anyone retaking the quiz from this week… I’m available today, Tuesday, and possibly Wednesday after school. To retake the quiz you must have the retake ticket filled out and 2 tasks completed to prepare yourself for the retake.
