Week of September 8th-11th

It was a pleasure to meet and welcome back all of my second grade students and parents last week during orientation and supply pick up and answer any questions you may have had about the start of the new school year! I hope the information was helpful to you.

This week I will be using my blog to communicate with you until I learn the program Schoology, which is the new platform that our district has adopted. More information about Schoology will be coming this week. *Please don’t forget to sign up for my blog.

Our Schedule For This Week

Above is the Specials Schedule for this week. Students can practice logging into Schoology any time this week to complete their first assignment from their Special area teacher for Art, Music and Gym. Give Schoology a try. If you are having trouble logging into Schoology no worries, step by step directions will becoming on the blog to help you mid week.

Schedule A Time To Read

I will be calling each parent on Tuesday, September 8th to schedule a time to bring their child into school, this week to read in the afternoon (30 minute time slot) with their teacher. This will help students and teachers to get reading groups and learning labs started on September 21st.

I am looking forward to starting this new voyage together in Second Grade!
