Parent-Teacher Conferences: How to Increase Productivity and Attendance - Really Good Teachers™ Blog and Forum | A Really Good Stuff® Community

Parent Teacher Conferences

Thank you to everyone who has joined us for Parent Teacher Conferences so far! It has been lovely being able to sit down and talk about all of the hard work your child is doing in the classroom during the school day. I am so proud of all of the growth I have seen in the last 5 weeks of school! Our final evening of conferences will be Wednesday, November 16th from 3:30-7:00pm.

Winter Clothes

It’s warm outside right now, but winter weather will be here before we know it! Please make sure your child has a winter coat, hat, snow mittens, snow pants, and snow boots to wear for outside time. We go outside two times everyday even if it is snowing as long as the temperature is 19 degrees or warmer. If you would like to keep your child’s snow pants at school you can send them in and I will put them in their locker until we need them.

A Look into Our Classroom…

we can do it ourselves! We’ve been talking a lot about how our classroom is like our house and we need to work together as a family to make sure it is a safe and fun place for everyone to learn. This week we had “company” coming over after school for conferences so we worked together to clean the classroom to make it shine!

During Small Group we read a story called “Good night, Gorilla” where Mr. Joe the zoo keeper uses a flash light to check on all the zoo animals before he goes to bed. Afterwards we turned off the classroom lights and used flashlights to practice writing and tracing letters with lights.
