Finally finished grading ALL 4th & 5th grade projects for the end of the card marking!

4th Grade had to write a paper about a sport from this year’s Winter Olympics and answer questions.

5th Grade was teamed up with a partner and completed a paper AND a poster or power point. They needed to include the sport and athlete from this year’s Winter Olympics. Some sports were so big that I had students just choose a country! Some posters that made it to the school’s hallway are as follows:

We recently completed JR4H at Oakman and raised almost $1,500!! Way to go Lions! We had an ending ceremony silly stringing teachers and our Principal, Mr. Abu-Rus. Right before the silly stringing, we had select students and volunteered teachers compete in an individual jump rope and double dutch competition. Everyone had a blast! Pictures to follow.

Maples is currently raising money for JR4H. This will continue until Spring Break. Keep raising any money you can Colts!
