Field Trip
On Monday, May 14, 2018, our 6th graders will be taking a trip to Joe Dumar’s Fieldhouse. We will be traveling by bus around 9:00 a.m., enjoying the day at the activity center, eating lunch at the fieldhouse, and arriving back to school at approximately 2:45 p.m.
Joe Dumar’s Fieldhouse offers a wide variety of activities including basketball, volleyball, mini golf, rope course, rock wall, laser tag, bungee trampoline, inline skating(need to bring your own skates) and more… All of these options will be available for our students to enjoy while on the field trip.
Students will need to bring a packed lunch with them. Please do not send glass bottles with your child on the trip. The concession stand is available for students, but these are NOT included in the price of the field trip.

Care to the Core Day Is Right Around The Corner
On Monday, April 23, every Dearborn public school will highlight the great ways their school is working to create a safe school environment during the first-ever “Care to the Core Day.” Each school will participate in an activity or program that demonstrates programs that are centered on helping students resolve conflicts, understanding the impact of their behaviors, and creating a safer school environment.
Parents, community members, city officials and others are invited to visit a Dearborn public school on April 23 to see and experience first-hand the types of activities that Dearborn schools are doing to promote a positive environment that nurtures student success.
