Winter Break Homework:

  1. No Red Ink– articles and prepositions- due January 6, 2018 @ 11:30 p.m
    • Articles- 2 topics ( 40 points)
    • Prepositions- 1 topic (20 points)
  2. Journal Squares #2 & #3- due January 8, 2018- This will count as a test grade- each entry should roughly be 3 pages long!!!!

 

Cut/ Glue Directions & table below:

  • Skip Lines!!!!!
    • Must include SMDI
    • Figurative Language
    • Dialogue- add quotation marks (replace “said” with- exclaimed, stated, shouted…)
    • Imagery- phrases that appeal to the reader’s 5 senses
    • Beginning, Middle, End
    • One type of conflict- society, nature, self, character, technology
  • You must highlight & label all the above- prove to me that you used all of the above requirements!!

Directions: There are three lists, pick one scenario, one quote, and one item for each journal entry! Mix and match, whatever you want! The quote must be used somewhere in your story! Really just have fun with it! I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
