Good morning and welcome back to virtual school Hornets! We hope you had a relaxing and fun Spring Break.

Today we start my FAVORITE part of 6th grade- reading the book “The City of Ember”. The audio for the story is included in the assignment, so you can listen to the book.

You will notice that you only have ONE assignment posted on Google Classroom for the week. This assignment is on Google Slides and is broken down into 3 parts: pre-reading, reading, and post-reading. You will type your answers into the slides and submit the whole assignment when it is complete. All parts of this assignment are due on Sunday, April 14th.

Here is your ELA Schedule for the week:
Monday: Complete Pre-Reading Journal and Prediction.
Tuesday/Wednesday: Read/listen to the prologue and Chapter 1 and answer questions.
Thursday/Friday: Complete Post-Reading Assignment
